You will plan and conduct various types of qual and quant customer research, identify problems from the user’s point of view, develop insights and opportunity areas, and test new ideas for product-market fit. As a Senior UX Researcher, you will: Engage daily with Product, Design, and Content stakeholders to understand priorities and key initiatives Scope qualitative and quantitative research studies with stakeholders, manager, and teammates and define how best to execute the work to answer research questions efficiently and effectively Execute project work in collaboration with your manager and team Share insights and recommendations with stakeholders, ensuring that recommendations influence design decisions and improve user outcomes Contribute to the UX Research community by participating in initiatives that improve our practices and processes Your Expertise and Skills You Bring2 plus years of UX Research or Bachelors and/or Masters in Design, Human Factors, Psychology, and/or related field preferred Familiarity with the design and execution of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including 1:1 interviewing, concept testing, usability testing, heuristic evaluation, and survey design Familiarity with the Jobs to Be Done framework Ability to recommend appropriate research method and approach, based on objectives and constraints Ability to rapidly scope, execute, and deliver results with assistance from manager and team Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to analyze research data and share insights and recommendations succinctly, with actionable takeaways Curiosity and confidence to ask questions that will uncover stakeholders’ true research needs Excellent interpersonal skills to influence and build trust with users and stakeholders in product, design, and content Ability to pivot in a complex environment Ability to tie research insights and recommendations to business needs and problems with assistance from manager and team Growth mindset – a strong desire to learn and improve, willingness and ability to give and receive feedback that improves deliverables and outcomes The Team Fidelity follows standard product-development frameworks that put user needs at the center of all that we do. Fidelity’s Onsite Working ModelFidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues.
